Striped Bass, Morone saxatilis

Small "Schoolie" stripers like this specimen have beautiful pronounced stripes. A fifteen inch long Striper weighs about two pounds and is approximately two years old. On the East coast they migrate from Chesapeake Bay to Nova Scotia. On the West Coast they migrate from San Francisco to Oregon.
